This policy explains what happens to information when you visit Cast Logic Hub, use a fishing tool, leave a comment or see an advertisement. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
Visiting and searching the site
Your browser sends technical information when it requests a page. This can include your IP address, the requested URL and time, browser information and the page that referred you. A search submitted on this site can appear in the URL and in request logs. Avoid entering private information in a search.
Cast Logic Hub uses Cloudflare to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. Cloudflare and the web hosting service can process connection and request data for delivery, troubleshooting and security. Depending on the security features used for a request, Cloudflare may set a cookie to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Fishing tools and browser storage
The catch journal, saved guides, checklists, learning progress, conditions notes and session log save the entries you choose to keep in this browser. The built-in tools do not upload those entries to Cast Logic Hub. The site also remembers display and region preferences when browser storage is available. Someone using the same browser profile may be able to read saved entries.
Use the tool’s delete or reset control where available, or clear site data for CastLogicHub.com in your browser. Export any records you want to keep first. Clearing site data does not delete a file you already exported.
Comments, accounts and email
If you comment, WordPress receives the text and the name, email address and any optional website address you submit. It can also record your IP address and browser information for security and moderation. Approved comments display the public name and comment. Email addresses supplied in the email field are not displayed with the comment. If you choose to remember your comment details, WordPress can save them in cookies on your device.
Signing in uses cookies to maintain the session. When a signed-in reader reports a comment, the site records the account, the comment and the reason so moderators can investigate. Avoid including private contact details or precise fishing locations in public comments.
If you email us, your address, message and any attachments reach our Gmail mailbox. We use them to answer the request and keep any correspondence needed to resolve it. Please send privacy requests by email rather than posting them publicly.
Google AdSense and advertising choices
Cast Logic Hub uses Google AdSense. When a page requests an ad, Google and participating advertising partners may receive the page URL, IP address, browser or device information, cookie or device identifiers, and information about ad views and interactions. These data help deliver and measure ads, limit repeated impressions and detect fraud.
Google and other advertising vendors can use cookies to select ads based on visits to Cast Logic Hub and other websites. Where personalized advertising is enabled and the required consent has been obtained, Google and its partners may use those visits to tailor ads. Non-personalized advertising can still involve storage for functions such as measurement, frequency limits and fraud prevention.
Where a consent message is displayed, use its controls to accept, decline or manage the available purposes. Open its vendor list to see the participating advertising companies and their privacy information. To revisit a decision, use the privacy or cookie settings control offered for your region. For a question about a choice or a missing control, email [email protected].

Sharing buttons, videos and external links
The Facebook and Twitter sharing buttons are ordinary links. Clicking one opens the selected service with the public page URL and, where applicable, its title. The email button opens a draft in your mail application. These sharing links do not include a private catch journal or saved checklist.
Where a fishing guide offers a YouTube player, pressing the load button connects your browser to YouTube. Google then receives connection information such as your IP address. Opening external source links or a newsletter signup link sends you to the destination service, whose own privacy information applies.
Reasons for processing and retention
Where European data protection law applies, we rely on legitimate interests in delivering the site, securing it, moderating public discussions and responding to ordinary correspondence. We rely on consent for personalized advertising and nonessential device storage where consent is required, and on a legal obligation where a law requires us to retain or disclose information.
Approved comments can remain with the discussion they belong to. Moderation and security records are retained according to the time needed to investigate abuse, protect the site and meet applicable legal obligations. Correspondence may be retained while a request or dispute is open. Local fishing records remain on your device until you remove them or your browser clears them. Advertising and infrastructure providers apply their own retention periods to data they process for their own purposes.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent for future processing. You may also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information where those rules apply, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Send requests to [email protected]. Include the page URL or comment name if relevant. We may ask for information needed to verify the request. For records kept only in your browser, use the controls on that device.
